NEW RELEASES 2010
Dear Friends,
Announcing: The 2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2006 Syrah, 2006 Merlot, 2006 Sangiovese, and the 2008 Chardonnay are being released now.
I want to thank all of you for supporting us through thick and thin. Every year grapes get ripe in September and October. We work 24/7 for three months to pick and crush with the blind faith that three or four years later you will want to buy some Boudreaux. Thank you so much!
Even though we are having a mild winter, work is killing me. : ) I have just been forced to taste through the quite remarkable wines from 2006 that we are offering here. As usual I wrote a poem to accompany each set of tasting notes for your personal entertainment. I have an open bottle of 2008 unfiltered Chardonnay plus the 2006 Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The bad news is: it's only 10 AM on Monday morning. The good news is:
1. Somebody has to finish these...
2. These are my best wines...ever.
3. I have enough to share with you and the tasting notes for these wines are attached to this email.
We continue to work with the 07's, 08's, and 09's while gathering stones for the finish of our exterior. Ok, we do sneak off snowboarding, surfing, snowmobiling, and flyfishing occasionally. You don't want us to get too dull...
Please let us know which wines you want. Now is a good time of year to ship to most locations.
The regular 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is showing well and will release on May 1, 2010.
We remain your faithful winemakers in beautiful Icicle Canyon,
Rob Newsom & Tyler Vickrey

TOP 50 BOTTLES TO BUY
"HOW THE BEST WAS WON. Our panel of wine pros nominated more that 200 wines, tasted them blind, and found a red and white winner in each of our five categories. What the judges see. For our blind tasting, we bagged each bottle and marked it with its grape variety(or blend). Then we got busy."
And Boudreaux Cellars 05' Cab Reserve wins BIG!!

CULT WINES FOR TOUGH TIMES
"In this post-crash economy, you really need to know about the up-and coming winemakers who are crafting exquisite wines at reasonable prices. A few of these names may sound vaguely familiar, while others are flying so far below the radar that you'll need sonar to find them. In any case, you will assuredly be hearing a lot more about these six winemakers...." - Marlene Rossman
I was thrilled to be included with these other fine winemakers. You can find the full article below.
