Wow, we bingo'd on this wine. It has the correct weight and body for very romantic merlot and continues to deliver long on the sweet hickory smoke, licorice, Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco, and spice. The tannins are exquisitely fine. The merlot from these vineyards seems to get better and better or maybe we are just having great vintages.This could be the best merlot we ever produce. It is so easy to get deep into a bottle. : )
